Multi-file HTTPS upload DLP test (jQuery)

Accepted files

Only you see uploads from this browser for this method. Kept for up to 1 hour.

A common action — select several files in the browser and upload them to a corporate portal. DLP should see that action and, with the right policies, respond. Upload test files to our server and compare what you see under Accepted files with what your DLP reports. Files stay on this page for one hour and are visible only to you.

curl

dlpbench.com · bash
curl -sS -X POST https://dlpbench.com/api/upload/jquery/ -F "file=@./hello-dlp.txt"
# Plain text with no identifiers: the request should arrive. If it fails, check the network or an overly strict policy.
dlpbench.com · bash
curl -sS -X POST https://dlpbench.com/api/upload/jquery/ -F "file=@./us-name-ssn-passport-30.csv"
# Test SSN and card: with DLP configured the request should not leave. If you get ok — the channel was not stopped.

FAQ

How does jQuery differ from HTML5 and the online form?

Here several files leave via script — like older corporate portals. HTML5 tests one file with native browser APIs. The online form sends only Subject and Message, no attachment. Run all three: rules often treat text and files differently.

How do I know DLP did not stop the upload?

Rows with file names appear under Accepted files — visible only in your browser and kept for up to an hour. If the request dies or there is no response, check the DLP log.

Why might a scripted upload succeed when cloud uploads are blocked?

Blocking upload to a specific cloud does not control every HTTPS POST. This page is an ordinary URL — your DLP may not know it, and it is unlikely to be on an allow or deny list yet.

Where do I get files, and why several at once?

Use the panel on the right or Sample data — XLSX and PDF with SSN, IBAN, cards, plus document samples. Multiple files at once is closer to a real portal: you see whether every attachment arrives. Build repeatable sets in the generator.

If the files arrived and DLP also sees them, keep going — try FTP or another sample set next.

Keep testing exfil channels

Try uploading over FTP and watch how your DLP reacts, or use another synthetic set.
